Mamie Zeager Suite

Mamie Zeager was the first wife of Paul Zeager, son of Samuel Zeager. The Zeager family owned the property from 1913 up until approximately 1968. It was a working farm where cattle and pigs were raised, and the family also operated a nearby sawmill. The U.S. Cavalry boarded horses in the large frame barn across the road (which was still a dirt road at the time.) Many of Mamie's relatives, some of whom were actually born on the premises, still visit our open houses.

Testimonials

"Thank you so much for helping us to make our wedding exactly what we both wanted. I can’t tell you how many people remarked on how grand the B&B is and such a perfect setting. We were blessed with a beautiful Fall day and everything went as planned (despite all my worrying) Garilee did an exceptional job on my flowers and they turned out lovely. For our anniversary we are looking forward to coming back and using our gift certificate. Many thanks!"
